A happy new year..!
Time is swiftly passing by, and suddenly it has been MONTHS (!!!) since last time I wrote. Not positive anyone still reads my blog. It's just a nice way of relaxing. I've always fancied writing, it's somewhat like a journal.
I generally write when something's on my mind.
Lately I've been highly bothered by the clear indications of the decay of Christian moral backbone.
But what do you do when in the present age, society is being pushed into a direction that shouldn't be normal for us Christians? I know it is becoming more and more common for Christians to practically share the same values and norms as anyone else, but is this the way it should be?
Ever more frequently I see Christians getting drunk, flirting about with just about everyone, approving of homo-sexuality and accepting it as an ordinary, 21st century occurence.
Christian couples play family long before even considering marriage. Or as soon as they get engaged, because "We'll get married anyhow, so why wait?"
Of course, we should know whom we're marrying, right? It is quite possible we won't even match together...
We live in a time where cleavages move lower and lower, while skirts move higher and higher, leaving little over to imagination.
And I'm not suggesting we should look like nuns. You can even have your body look like a girl's!
It is true that God is a loving, forgiving, kind God.
But nowhere in the Bible it says He is tolerant of sin. The Bible states quite clearly the borders between right and wrong. It tells us God is holy, our JUDGE (don't like this word in this century), our LORD... And what does this mean?
I'm not at all trying to pose myself as the perfect example of THE flawless Christian.
Just trying to raise some question, maybe even provoke someone to action...
